Grade 8, Sci Lab Class, AConcepts of Convection and Atmospheric Pressure

Our Grade 8 students explored the fascinating concepts of convection and atmospheric pressure ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ through hands-on experiments ๐Ÿงช.

By adding colour ๐ŸŽจ to hot and cold water, they clearly observed the upward movement of warm water โ™จ๏ธ and the downward movement of cool water โ„๏ธ. Using smoke from an incense stick ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ, they saw how air moves in a circular path ๐Ÿ”„.

They also learned about atmospheric pressure ๐ŸŒ in action! A fun and exciting demonstration showed how a boiled egg ๐Ÿฅš gets pushed inside a conical flask ๐Ÿงด due to air pressure, proving that the air around us exerts force even though we cannot see it ๐Ÿ‘€.

A day full of curiosity ๐Ÿค”, observation ๐Ÿ”Ž, and discovery โ€” where science truly came alive!
