The much-anticipated Sports Week kicks off on the 23rd of Mangsir with an exciting lineup of events, involving students from grades 1 to 10. This week promises to be filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship as students engage in various athletic activities and games.
Opening Ceremony
The Sports Week will begin on the 23rd of Mangsir with a grand opening ceremony. All students from grades 1 to 10 will come together to mark the commencement of this thrilling event.
Activities and Events
Futsal (Girls)
Students from grades 4 to 9 will participate in an exhilarating futsal match. All students, except those involved in badminton and chess, are encouraged to attend and cheer for their teams. This event will be supervised by Nirmal Dahal, Abiral Adhikari, and the house teachers of each house.
Badminton Hits
The badminton hits event for Category 3 (grades 4 to 6 boys) will feature exciting matches under the guidance of Diwas Sir, Purna Sir, and the house teachers.
Chess Final
Category 4 chess players, both boys and girls, will compete in the finals. This strategic battle will be overseen by Anmol Sir and Sauharda Sir.
Drill Practice
Students from grades 1 to 3 will engage in a fun and energetic drill practice session, led by Laxmi Ma’am.
Futsal (Junior)
Futsal for grades 2 and 3 will provide an opportunity for young talents to showcase their skills. This event will be managed by Nirmal Dahal and teachers from grades 1, 2, and 3.
Basketball (Girls)
Basketball matches for girls from grades 4 to 6 will also take place. The event will be guided by Nischal Maharjan and the house teachers of each house.
Teacher Volleyball Match
Adding a fun twist to the week, a volleyball match exclusively for teachers will be held. All teachers and students are encouraged to watch and cheer for their favorite teams.
Grade 1 Game
Special games will be organized for grade 1 students, led by Rachana Puri and Chanda Rana, ensuring even the youngest participants enjoy the week.
Finals and Featured Events
Basketball Final (Girls)
The finals of the basketball tournament for girls from grades 4 to 6 will be held. Students from the same grades will gather to support their peers.
Badminton Final
The singles and doubles finals for badminton, involving boys from grades 4 to 6, will take place. This event will crown the champions in their respective categories.
Shot Put
A thrilling shot put event will be conducted, providing students an opportunity to display their strength and technique.
Gymnastics
Two gymnastics events will be held:
- A special session for grades 2 and 3.
- A gymnastics competition for grades 4 to 7, organized for the students of the gymnastics club. These events will be supervised by Pravin Sir and Ganesh Sir.
Meals and Snacks
To ensure students and teachers stay energized throughout the day, lunch and snacks will be provided as usual. Grades 4 to 6 will have their lunch before grades 7 to 10, ensuring a smooth schedule.
