THE ENGLISH DEPARTMENT OF EURO SCHOOL CHHAUNI INVITES STUDENTS FROM GRADES 4-8 TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL POETRY WRITING COMPETITION!

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA WHICH WILL BE USED TO JUDGE YOUR POEMS:

• Creativity/Style (Use of literary devices such as symbolism, metaphors, similes, personification, etc)  

• Originality (No plagiarism will be tolerated; you may take reference but originality will be prioritized)

• Clarity of imagery and language

• Coherence of form and structure (harmony of words, presentation)

THE WINNERS OF THE COMPETITION WILL BE REWARDED WITH APPEALING PRIZES AND A CHANCE TO BE A PUBLISHED AUTHOR! 

IN ADDITION, THE WINNERS WILL BE CONTRIBUTING THE FOLLOWING POINTS TOWARDS THEIR HOUSE: 

1ST POSITION: 15 POINTS                         2ND POSITION: 10 POINTS                                     3RD POSITION: 5 POINTS
